Aireau tells us about it in an interview

First of all, the manufacturer’s team worked on the development of a protective device for medical personnel. From week oneof the pandemic, they had to develop a filtration device adapted to the new reality of our world. Finally, the MAXIMED was deployed with the help of hospitals in Quebec.

The pandemic prompted several manufacturing companies to be creative in delivering products that mitigate its damage. Aireau is one of them.
Maximed is an aerosol aspirator designed specifically for use in the healthcare sector. Placed over a patient’s face, much like a dentist’s lamp, it sucks in pathogens exhaled by the patient and secures the environment for medical personnel.
Aireau has been a designer and manufacturer of ventilation equipment since 1992. They specialize in humidification and filtration for hospitals. Their factory in Bois-des-Filion, in the northern part of Montreal, and has approximately 45 employees.
